It's been an extremely warm start to February at the Beach Cottage. Warm westerly winds have kept the surf small and clean, perfect for the logs. Saturday morning started slowly suffering from some early morning slackness really leaving alot to the imagination. T-Brid and I punched the 6a.m wake up just to beat the crowds only to find the surf a little on the ordinary side and trapped between tides. It was a nice time of the day to be out and about though. A lone fisherman making the most of the calm seas...
After a couple of patient hours reading longboard mags and shopping we returned to find the waves peeling at the Cowrie Hole! The crowds weren't even that bad, apart from the sneaky grom we nick named the 'ninja' for his finely honed wave snaking ability, and Asian complexion.
The warm weather has also worked wonders on the garden. The latest pick from the garden...
